Customizing WhatsApp URL to use https://wa.me
By default, the plugin uses different WhatsApp APIs for mobile and desktop depending on the user’s device: Default: Mobile: https://api.whatsapp.com/send Desktop: https://web.whatsapp.com/send To force the plugin to always use https://wa.me, regardless of the device. Use the wws_whatsapp_web_api_url filter to override the default behavior, copy the following snippet and paste it into the child theme‘s functions.php file.
Open desktop app instead new tab
By default, WordPress Support Using WhatsApp opens WhatsApp on a new tab on the desktop. If you want to open WhatsApp on the WhatsApp desktop application then copy the following snippet and paste it into the child theme‘s functions.php file.
Always widget pops up
By default, WordPress Support Using WhatsApp pops up the widget only one time when the user/customer opens the website or re-opens the website. If you want to pop up the widget with every page load then copy the following snippet and paste it into the child theme‘s functions.php file.
Change pre-message text
For Multiple Person Support: 1: Click on WhatsApp Support from the admin menu. 2: Now, click on the Manage Support Person(s) tab. 3: Edit the support person you want to change the Support Pre Message. 4: You can change the Pre Message from the Support Pre Message option. 5: Click on the “Save Changes” button to save the changes.
